A Short Walk Along Nowy Świat

It was a cold, dull late afternoon when I decided to grab my camera and went for a short walk at Nowy Świat street towards the Old Town. The street is pretty bright this time of the year because of the lights for the Christmas season. I’ve wanted to do this for years, but I was just too lazy to do it. But hey, you can’t blame me, it’s freezing outside. However, this time is different. It’s warmer than the previous years. Yeah man, climate change is f***ing real.

To be honest, I was a bit disappointed when I reached the Christmas market at the Old Town Square. I was expecting a more festive and crowded market with a sea of food stalls, but it was not. Or maybe my expectation just went higher after my visit to Strasbourg the other year.

Anyway, I didn’t stay long because it was getting colder that night. It would have been easier and have better photos if I had a tripod. Without it, I am usually on my Slavic Squat, waiting for the shutter. To be fair, I think my squatting game was pretty spot on. 😉 Peace out!
