Warsaw from the High Ground

A friend of my office mate invited us to take a look at the new building which is expected to be one of the highest in Europe. I do have a fear of heights, specially climbing on a makeshift stairs hanging out 30 floors above the ground but it’s always what’s up there that makes every nerve-racking step worth it. The gorgeous night scenery of Warsaw.

I’ve been wanting to take photos of Warsaw at night from above. Although, the Palace of Culture and Science tower is available for it, this one is better because there are less barriers.

Currently, the building is halfway. Twenty floors more and Varso Place will become the highest office building in Europe. The director explained a lot of details on how the construction was going on that would have been interesting but unfortunately, nie mówię po polsku.

When this building is finished, it is expected to draw some attention. And for sure, this will be added to Warsaw’s tourist destinations.
