Valleta, Malta

Malta, an archipelago in the central Mediterranean between Sicily and the North African coast. In only three hour direct flight from Paris, one could be in a completely different scene: sun and sea. We love the sun and specially the sea but the main reason we visit the country was BTS. Yes, that K-pop group BTS. Iris is a big fan and this trip was inspired by one of the BTS’ series shot in Malta. So there we went.

We planned to visit few cities in the country and our first stop was Valleta, the country’s capital. Of course we did what BTS did (some of it), strolling around the city and even eating at a restaurant called Cockney’s where the owner pinned a picture of him and Jin on the wall. 😛

During our stay at Valleta, it was also around that time where they celebrate Notte Bianca, an annual celebration of arts and culture in Malta. There were parties in every corner, concerts and shows which we took part of for a couple of hours.

Food was also another highlight of this trip. I’m a sucker for seafood and I was n the right place. We were eating fish and squid all the time. And surprisingly, we found a Filipino restaurant in one of their food halls. Of course we couldn’t let it pass specially that sweet halo-halo.

This is just our first city and we got more places to explore on this archipelago.
