Sunset in Lausanne

Every year, we go to Batmaid’s HQ in Lausanne for our annual gathering or sort of team building to meet other members of the company from different offices. We usually stay there for the entire week, working on weekdays and go up the mountains on the weekend for the anticipated party.

It is often gloomy and rainy in Lausanne during winter, but that day, I have never seen a beautiful sunset over the lake. And it’s been a long time since I saw one. I went down to the lake to take a couple of pictures and to relax. It is nice to pause and calm down from time to time. You know, forget everything for a second to focus at the moment and wonder: a swan floating carefree on the lake waiting for its dinner, probably has a better life than most of us? :thinking emoji:

It was a great day, but I couldn’t stay long because it was getting cold. I went home and had a good sleep, prepared for the grind the next day. 😉
