Once Again, Verbier

It was my third time to be in Verbier. It has been the go-to destination on every Batmaid’s annual team gathering with more people every year than the previous ones.

Having been here a couple of times, I already had ideas on what will happen over the weekend. That’s why I took a rest most of the day at the hotel. But for some reason, I have trouble sleeping every time we’re here. So, I decided to skip the hike organized by the team. But I had to admit, I regretted not doing it, especially when I saw their pictures. I mean, how often could you visit one of the top winter destinations in Switzerland for free? Also, trying to sleep at the hotel didn’t pay off because I ended up staying awake the whole time. So I just decided to go out and walked around taking pictures which could have been better if I was at the top of the mountain. 😐

However, the real fun happened on our last night at Verbier. We sledded down to our hotel from the restaurant on the hill where we had our dinner. You may say sledging is not as cool as skiing but make no mistake, we did it at night on almost zero visibility and drunk. Well, most of us were. It was fun to the point where it almost crossed the boundary of serious injuries. 😀

In the end, everybody arrived at the hotel with bruises, wet, semi-frost bites, and with twelve sledges missing. 😉
