Liwa, UAE

After Christmas, Bruce and Ate Mae organized a three days, two nights camping in the desert. They had done it multiple times but it was our first time. I did camping a couple of times before but this was far different from those. In Liwa, you’ll see nothing but sand, everywhere. If you’ve been to any campsite and spent at least one night, you know that it’s the “number 2” you are most worried about. So, just imagine doing it in the desert where you have nothing to use as a cover.

But aside from that, everything was an unforgettable experience. Surreal. From the toilet problem, to the absolutely delicious foods and most of all, the heart pumping buggy ride. It was an awesome adventure. Thanks to the von Kaufmann family for organizing it and for having us. C’Γ©tait super !

We arrived at our first campsite. In few years, there will be a resort here.

It was hot during daytime, it's completely the opposite at night.
