Granville, France

Granville is a coastal town in the region of Normandy, northwestern France. We went there for the post-birthday weekend trip of Iris. We’ve also met up with friends and took a day trip to Les îles Chausey, a group of islands few hours by ferry from Granville.

The city is small, so a day or two is enough to walk around, unless you want to stay for a little gambling in their casino. And for those who are into luxury items, you can visit Christian Dior’s home.

Although it was in the middle of a heatwave, don’t get fooled by the sea. It was still cold AF. And since it is a coastal town, it is recommended to still bring a jacket because the wind could pick up anytime at night.  Also, and the most important thing, watch out for those nasty seagulls flying above you. Aside from their notoriety of snatching foods, they might also drop bombs on you. 😛
