Futuroscope: A Technology Themed Park

Just a few minutes away from Poitiers, Futuroscope or Parc du Futuroscope is a French theme park based upon multimedia, cinematographic Futuroscope and audio-visual techniques (via). It houses several 3D cinemas and a few 4D cinemas.

Although Futuroscope has mostly technology related attractions, there are also water-themed activities where kids and kids-at-heart will both enjoy. After few hours of exhausting rides, one can chill anywhere under the shed of green trees accompanied by music played all over the park.

We didn’t try all activities because aside from the fact that it’s impossible to do so, we were still tired from our trip to La Rochelle the day before. However, if you are planning to visit soon, I recommend the Arthur, The 4D Adventure and the classic arcade. 😉 They also have these crazy slides which I recommend, unless you are not a fan of climbing stairs.
