Colmar, France

If Iris hadn’t told me that the village in Beauty and The Beast was (most likely) inspired from Colmar, I wouldn’t have any idea where Colmar is. The resemblance between the Disney movie and the city is uncanny. Dreamy colorful houses, cobblestone streets and quaint shops. If you’ve been to Disneyland, you would definitely feel that Disney-ish vibe (without the rides) just by walking around the old town.

We only spent one whole day exploring the city since we stayed in Strasbourg but it was more than enough for classic tourists like ourselves. 😛 It was a nice experience except for the long waiting time during our lunch and aching knees and feet. Wear comfy shoes kids.
