The Beautiful City of Prague
The last destination of our one week vacation was Prague. The city is one of the top tourist destinations in Europe. I immediately understood why it draws attention from visitors around the world. The architecture of the buildings around the city is just amazing. I don’t know what else this city can offer and I’m sure there are many but I was already satisfied with the beauty of the city and the intricacy of each minute detail of the buildings. This city is indeed beautiful, literally.
We’ve met with a friend, Kyri whom I’ve known back in Warsaw and brought us to a less crowded park just minutes outside the city center and then introduced us to this restaurant where your beers or any drinks are delivered in a miniature train. That was absolutely surprising and amazing at the same time. Your entrance fee, service fee or whatever it’s called is totally worth it.
Another interesting thing to see in the city is the astronomical clock but unfortunately, it was not available due to ongoing reconstruction. It should be open to the public by October.
We spent three days in the city, walking around old town, visiting museums, climbing towers, sitting on the park, and rowing boat before we took a 5-hour bus drive to Wrocław. I would totally recommend Prague to be on your bucket list especially if you’re into medieval or renaissance architecture.
