Menton, France

Menton caught my attention when I saw some pictures about its lemon festival where animated figures were wrapped with lemons. It is located at the border between Italy and France and since it is just few minutes away from Nice, we paid it a visit.

Although we didn’t see lemons since the festival happens every February, we still had fun walking along the shore under the scorching sun. Yeah, okay, it was not that fun but we had a good meal though. That spaghetti aux fruits de mer stood for its name. *chef’s kiss*.

After walking for more or less 3.5km from one train station to another, which we pre-planned to optimize our route, we went home exhausted. Fortunately, there is a beach which is a 3 minute walk from where we stayed in Nice. 😉
