Fontainebleau, France
Year 2020 has been, to put it delicately, weirdly fucked up. The pandemic has changed, if not lost, a lot of lives, and in fact, it still is. Normally, Iris and I are going somewhere for vacation around this time. However, everything was put on hold since the virus had a different plan for everyone.
The pictures on this post were taken four months ago, just weeks before the second lockdown. We were able to walk around Fontainebleau for a couple of hours to break from our daily routine of waking up, eat breakfast, and work at the same place. And before one of you start bitching about staying home, yes you’re right and yes, we took extra precautionary measures to be safe as much as possible. 😉 In fact, we really didn’t stay for long to avoid the crowd and went home as soon as it started to get cold.
Although the pandemic forced us to take a different course, I’m not in the position to complain. Having a stable job when majority of the people lost theirs is already a huge bonus. So if you are reading this at your apartment, warm and cozy, stop being pessimistic but instead be grateful and if possible, help someone you know who is struggling. And yes, Fontainebleau is nice and cute. :*
