Nice, France

We stayed in Nice during our vacation for strategic reasons. It has convenient connections to the cities along the Mediterranean coast.

On top of that, it has a long stretch of shoreline, although not a sandy beach, where we could eat our freshly baked le croissant or le pain au chocolat paired with cheap brewed coffee. Then swim late in the afternoon after walking all day.

Out of all the places I’ve been to, Nice, in my opinion, is close to my ideal place to live. The beach and convenience are all in one place. Of course, this excludes all the shit shows that happened and is happening there. I’m a simple guy, put me next to any body of water and we’re good. 😉

To cap our vacation, we pampered ourselves with a spa and got the much needed massage. My back pain was killing me all year.
