Iris Jane and West 35

It was a fine Sunday morning when Iris and I decided to go for a quick ride to West 35 Eco Mountain Resort. It is a 1hr bike ride (depends on your speed) from the city through Cebu Transcentral Highway. The resort is located at Km35, Brgy. Gaas, Balamban, a 5 minute-drive away from Adventure Cafe.

We went there for three reasons:

• De-stress – To relax and breath fresh air after a week of grinding and hustling from work.
• Blog – It’s been a while since my last post on my blog. Also, my broken camera works again. I have no idea how. o.O
• Lunch – Okay, a lunch date. *winks*

It was the first time for both of us to visit the place and we find it cool, literally. The food was not that special but it was the ambiance that made it perfect for people looking for relaxation. One can choose scenery from lush green mountains of Balamban to the Tañon Strait between Cebu and Negros.

However, there is one place in the resort that surprised me. It’s their comfort room. It really stood for its name. (Scroll down to see what I mean.) 😛

We just stayed there for 2 hours, took pictures and appreciate nature (tsaar!) before we headed back home for another binge eating. 😛
