Lyon, France

Lyon, a 2 hour away via train, located southeast of Paris, is a city I’ve known from travel videos. It is known as food capital of France and so we went. Aside from food, it also has quite few sceneries, strolling in the old town, go up on a funicular or just chill on the riverbanks, they have two rivers, in fact.

We met with Marie, Iris’ classmate from her Masters II. She guided us around the city and of course, she brought us to one of the bouchons in Lyon, a restaurant which serves local cuisine. It was delicious and indeed, on a trop mangé. However, I would say we enjoyed more the unlimited Korean BBQ. I guess you can never take the Asian from us. :P
